FindAMover.co.uk is a site dedicated to helping people in the UK find a recommended Removals Business in their area.

Origin

FindAManAndVan.co.uk was the result of a difficult search to find a Man and Van by the Founder, James Beach. James wanted to move house from Devon to Hampshire and found a Man andVan to be the best, and cheapest option. Getting a personal recommendation proved very difficult, and James realised there was a real need for people to be able to gather their experiences and feedback on this very large industry of small businesses.

Launched on 17 January 2007, the site now lists a range of Man and Van Services across the UK, and receives hundreds of hits a day from people searching for a Man and Van Service in their area of the UK.

As the site continued to grow, it became obvious that many of our listers considered "Man and Van" to be a very restrictive word for them. These businesses were larger than a conventional "Man and Van" business, they were essentially Small Removals businesses. As a result, FindAMover.co.uk was bought, to demonstrate the wider coverage of Removals Businesses/Removal Companies and Couriers, as well as the Man and Van coverage of before.

Our Aim

We were setup to serve our customers, both by finding members of the public the ideal moving business to suit their needs, and by finding business for the many high quality Removals Companies, Couriers and "Man and Van" Services running in the UK.

We don't just want to be a directory service that gives people the information we think they should hear...we want to retain a community nature to the site. If we hear we're not shaped right for the industry, we want to change to work better for it (just as we did in buying FindAMover.co.uk, as the result of feedback). Too many web services don't listen to their customers today....we don't want to become one of them!

We want to be the name people think of when they need a Removals Company, Courier or Man and Van Service, in London, Glasgow, or anywhere else in the UK.

We want to serve our customers, as happy customers, for many years to come!
